History
A brilliant inventor (who holds several hundred patents and who wishes to remain anonymous) conceived of the concept of an interlocking system of hyper-resilient trampolines in the late 1990’s.  He used his engineering background to make detailed drawings and conceptual blueprints of what would become one of the most unique playing surfaces ever: the Sky Zone court.  The concept was so unique that he was awarded a U.S. patent for his efforts.

Sky Zone LLC was formed in 2002 with the sole purpose of developing the concept.  Up to that point, there was only a detailed drawing.  Using a warehouse located in Las Vegas as a research and development center, Rick Platt, along with a team of skilled engineers, welders, carpenters, and builders set out to design the first Sky Zone playing field.  Eight months later, the construction was finished.  The Sky Zone court was brought to life.
