After striking gold in Chesterfield and Las Vegas, Rick Platt and his son, Jeff, plan to expand their SkyZone Trampoline Center LLC business nationwide with eight new facilities by the end of next year.
To help with the expansion, the Platts recently hired St. Louis-based advertising agency Atomicdust and architectural firm Oculus Inc. to redesign SkyZone's marketing and centers. The facilities -- similar to the two it already operates -- will feature patented trampoline playing courts that can be used for playing SkyZone's own game of shooting balls through hoops that rotate, or traditional games like dodgeball, cross training and aerobics.
SkyZone will use the new branding concept and interior design developed by Atomicdust and Oculus -- including a new logo -- as a template for all the company's proposed centers across the nation, Jeff Platt said.
